What's up, dude?

Been to the Mark Knopfler concert yesterday. Believe me the experience was simply mind blowing. Starting with Why Aye Man, Knopfler played tracks from most of Dire Straits’ and his solo albums. But my pick of the evening was Local Hero Wild Theme, one of my most favourite Knopfler guitar solos. It was my pick not because he played it the best, but because he played it! I get goose pimples everytime I listen to that track.

I figure you wouldn’t be interested in knowing what I have been doing all this time. I have been travelling across the length and breadth of the country for about five months now and am just back from a three week trip to Delhi. I managed to squeeze in a day’s trip to the Bharatpur bird sanctuary. Did some good photography there. Ah! I know its been three months since I have posted anything on the photoblog, although I haven’t stopped taking photos. With a burgeoning backlog of nice photos I could share, I resolve yet again to update Shutterbug.nu. I hope the Blogger’s Clog is gone for sometime now.

i hate mark knopfler, system of a down is much better.
Mark Knopfler is one of the best guitarists out there. I'd love to see him play live myself. I probably need to listen to a lot more of his solo work.
I was there too. Brilliant stuff! Was very nice to hear Telegraph Road (reference track for Mike and I) live. Knopfler and his band are a very tight bunch; real pros.
