K-logs

July 27, 2002 12:22 AM

KM being the buzz word of today has gained importance in todays scenario of vast knowledge resources that a company has. The same applies to my workplace. Being a security guy, I am thinking of putting up a portal for security on my intranet. Basically this article has inspired me to use weblogs as an element. Weblogs are so simple to manage, search through or archive. The article has a point - An e-mail exchange between two technical support reps outlining a fix to a common problem can be copied to the department weblog. Such Weblogs are called as K-logs. Seems to be a very very interesting proposition......
