PS2 Rules
February 26, 2003 12:06 PM
I would be one of the last gamers on the earth who have yet not laid their hands on the Sony PS2. Yesterday I did get to play Gran Turismo 3 on the PS2 and to tell you, I was stunned by the sound & exceptionally detailed graphics. This game beats NFS 3/4/5 hands down in closeness to reality. Not to mention the force feedback gamepad which really got me into the action. But the ultimate games I would like to play on a PS2 would be GTA:VC, LOTR:TTT and the yet unreleased new version of GTA previewed on Gamer.tv.

You should try Metal Gear Solid 2. It's a little long and marred with cut-scenes but hey gameplay is still great. You can try (or graduate to :D) Splinter Cell after you're done with MGS2 and tell us what you think.
Btw, nice journal.

Did you know that Xbox copied pS2's design and idea. how did xbox get the idea of installing a DVD player? I have a strong gut feeling that xbox copied ps2, they have the same console buttons, disc tray, Online, and harddrive. And all the games that come out for xbox, come out on PC, even though it said "Only on Xbox" on the case, so...basically having xbox and PC its like having 2 same exact consoles.
