MT 3.0 Discounts

Got a mail from SixApart today announcing the discounts for MT 3.0D. I was waiting for this mail since the day they launched MT3.0. The discount is a whopping 50 percent! That makes the cost of the personal edition to USD35 which is realistic. I most probably will go for it.

Try wordpress before investing money anywhere!! I strongly recommend it. You can easily port to wordpress from your MT installation. I tried the developers free edition. Not bad a few changes here and there, i prefer using a "non (post)build time" version. I thought their new interface was slower!!

Sachin, I have been trying Wordpress for a long time. I have also tried Textpattern, geeklog and a couple of other CMSes. The only architecture I am comfortable with is that of MT. Oh,and I prefer static pages over dynamically built pages. Atleast for now.
No I don't have Fedora Core 2 final but am getting it soon. Probably next week :( Let's meet anyway.

Its only the developer network that's keeps MT from being relegated to dark corners of the web. For a company which is so heavily dependent on this community, alienating it should be sacrilege. Yet, the Movabletype.org developer forums remain deserted ...
